If you’re thinking about running out to California to pursue your career in the film industry, you may just want to watch the debut season of Party Down first. The STARZ original series, directed by Fred Savage, features an amazing cast of actors including Ken Marino (The State), Lizzy Caplan (Mean Girls), and Jane Lynch (Best In Show) as well as an all-star cast of creators (Rob Thomas, Paul Rudd). The show follows the story of a group of actors who move to L.A. to follow their dreams, but wind up having to working for tips at a catering company called “Party Down.. Their absolute ridiculous and embarrassing experiences amidst the glitz and glamour at the parties of L.A.’s not so social elite leave you winded from laughter and thoroughly uncomfortable.
