So you’d think when the Swindie band Love is All caught my eye, I’d atone by devoting this blog post to their uniquely Scandinavian roots. I can tell you they are from Gothenburg, and I have looked at a dot with that eponymous title on an array of Google Image Search maps. Also, we have Gothenburg metal to thank for Metalocalypse, so it must be alright.
Everyone Wins. Except For James Taylor
Taylor greeted my visit to his website with a Telethon-style video, imploring me to sign up for an e-mail newsletter and punctuating his every word with a hand gesture (for unknown reasons, but maybe it’s like how old people feel the need to shout into telephone receivers when they’re calling long distance).

We are much less lenient of papier mache coconut trees in the films we watch, perhaps because a photograph can be mistaken for life. Or perhaps because our collective conscience demands, in return for the horrific expense incurred in making a movie, at the least, consistent coffee cup levels. In Mother 3, you can ride a coffee table.
