As you know, we have been avid fans of The Gay Blades. Well these assholes just put up a video for the ultra-catchy track “O Shot” and it is currently up for voting on mtvU (yes, music videos are still associated with MTV, you just have to dig a little). The beauty of this new release: the band is actually getting paid for it. That’s right, you aren’t just stealing this shit and then using that money to buy your girlfriend new underwear to make her other boyfriend jealous. The Gay Blades are your favorite band in 2008. Seeing them live is a treat… and by “treat” I mean you will probably get made fun of by the guy on stage or forced to stand up there with them and awkwardly shake a tambourine while getting attacked by beards of fury.
